When you become a member of MVFCU, you are immediately eligible to enjoy financial opportunities and privileges that save you both time and money. Membership is a benefit that you can share with your family by sponsoring them to have a membership with MVFCU. As long as you maintain an account with us, you're our member even if you retire, change jobs, move, or change your marital status. You can enjoy a lifetime of advantages from your MVFCU membership. And as your needs change, so might the ways you benefit from your relationship with us.

Become a Member

Joining MVFCU is easy! Just come in and visit any of our Community Offices to open an account. You will need to show valid identification with a residence address and/or proof of employment address (a current pay stub is acceptable) or other paperwork validating eligibility.

An important member benefit is the credit union’s “Once a member, always a member” policy. This means that you may retain your membership even if you retire or leave the area.

All MVFCU member deposits are insured to at least $250,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the US Government – National Credit Union Administration.

One $25 share is all it takes to open your share savings account. This basic savings account qualifies you as a MVFCU member and entitles you to all the benefits and privileges of the credit union.

Who Can Join

In Alaska, persons who live, worship, work in, or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located in the Municipality of Anchorage or Matanuska-Susitna Borough.

In Hawaii, membership is open to those persons who live, worship, work in, or attend school in and businesses and other legal entities located within the Waipahu Neighborhood Board #22 of the City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii.
